Here's a cover of one of my favorite songs from Mood Valiant (2021). Basing the transcription on what I've heard on the record and from what Perrin Moss plays in the live versions that are available on YouTube. (The bridge at 2:37 for example)

NOTES: Yeah, I probably should have played on the rim of the snare for the "click" sounds on the verse. Also I think Moss is using a piccolo snare or some other small drum in the outro section. Just approximating the drums samples/sounds he uses with what I have in front of me.

It was really hard to hear exactly what Moss was playing in the climax of the song at 3:15.

On the live versions he plays a straight sixteenth note grove but I was feeling the album version in 12/8. You could put a 12/8 Afro-Cuban bell pattern with a back beat and you'd have a good groove there too! I went with the open Hi-Hats because those were the cymbals I could hear.

The band is relying on feel I believe for the metric modulation in the intro at 1:04.

The notation I used works if you were to play it metronomically but I like how pulled back the band plays it.

The badass fill at 1:23 can be played between only the snare and bass drum for a more explosive sound.
