Amanda Brown and the Village Underground Allstars bring down the house at Village Underground February 8, 2012.

I posted this as a fan. I've been fortunate enough to hear Amanda sing since the second night she and the guitar player Colin played with the Village Underground AllStars and I've been dragging friends down for nearly two years to hear her. "She's going to get signed and be a big star", I'd say. Some would laugh, but those who came were amazed by the range and power in her voice. On top of that, she's a very sweet and unaffected person.

Amanda Brown has a spectacular career ahead of her; if I had to bet on which one would have the greatest career in three years, it would be Amanda. She exhibited not only power and range in her singing, but also a brilliance for picking "the right song." She also treated everyone on the show with respect and refused to exploit personal tragedies to win points with the audience. Amanda's a classy and complete package. Record labels: let the bidding begin!
