Brass Against is a collective group of musicians who share the goal of creating music to inspire social and personal change. The band curates songs from a variety of influences from Tool, Rage Against the Machine, Soundgarden, Black Sabbath, Run the Jewels as well as their own compositions in a heavy brass filled symphony.

Brass Against has toured extensively throughout the world playing shows and festivals and have shared the stage with Tool, Prophets of Rage, Lenny Kravitz, Living Colour, Royal Blood, Mike D (Beastie Boys), Ben Harper and more.

Critically acclaimed as one of America’s most talented and versatile performers today, Violin/Vox/Freestyle Composition artist Mazz Swift has engaged audiences all over the world with the signature weaving of song, melody and improvisation that they call MazzMuse. As a singer, composer and Juilliard-trained violinist who plays electronic and acoustic instruments, Mazz has performed and recorded with a diverse accumulation of artists including The Silkroad Ensemble, William Parker, Butch Morris, Jason Lindner, James “Blood” Ulmer, Vernon Reid, Valerie June, Whitney Houston, DJ Logic, Kanye West, D’Angelo. Mx. Swift is a 2021 United States Artist and 2019 Jerome Hill Artist Fellow, currently working on a series of compositions that involve conducted improvisation, and that are centered around protest, spirituals, and the Ghanaian concept of ‘Sankofa’: looking back to learn how to move forward.

A Living Colour amerikai rock együttes. New Yorkban alakultak. A csapat jelenlegi felállása 1986-ban alakult. Igazából már 1984-ben megalakultak, viszont több tag is kilépett a két év során, és ekkor még "Vernon Reid's Living Colour" volt a nevük, utalva ezzel az alapító tagra. Első lemezük 1988-ban jelent meg. 1995-ben feloszlottak, viszont 2000-ben visszatértek, és a mai napig működnek. A zenekar eddig hat nagylemezt adott ki. Lemezkiadóik: Megaforce Records, Sanctuary Records, Epic Records. Leghíresebb daluknak a "Cult of Personality" számít, amely háromszor is megnyerte az MTV Video Music Awards díjat, illetve a 2004-es Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas videójátékban is hallható. Hard rock, funk metal, hair metal és alternatív metal műfajokban játszanak. A Living Colour első, Vivid című nagylemeze bekerült az 1001 lemez, amelyet hallanod kell, mielőtt meghalsz című könyvbe.
